The personal Instagram account of the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs, Mahfud Md, @mohmahfudmd, has been hacked since Tuesday afternoon (16/1/2024), as indicated by the posting of a 12-second video featuring several soldiers heading a soccer ball. Rizal Mustary, a Special Staff Member of Minister Mahfud, announced that all posts and messages from the @mohmahfudmd account since around 4 pm on Tuesday, were not from Mahfud Md, antaranews.com reported. "At present, the status of Mr. Mahfud Md's personal Instagram account has been hacked by external parties outside the management team. This situation has been ongoing since Tuesday afternoon, 16 January 2024, and recovery efforts are underway," he said in the official statement. There is no information about the individuals responsible for hacking Minister Mahfud's personal Instagram account. In his account, the hacker uploaded a video with a caption in Hebrew script, which, when translated literally, reads: "God is above me, who can control me?" By 5 pm, the post had garnered over 8,000 likes and more than 2,000 comments. Minister Mahfud account is currently followed by 1.3 million Instagram users and has shared more than 1,000 posts.
