inp.polri.go.id - West Nusa Tenggara. A joint team from the Sumbawa Sub-regional Police successfully raided a house suspected of being a drug distribution location in Serading Village, Moyo Hilir District, Tuesday (8/26/2025). This operation was led directly by the Sumbawa Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Marieta Dwi Ardhini and involved hundreds of personnel from various agencies.

Although the alleged perpetrator with the initials R was not at the location during the raid, the authorities managed to secure a large amount of evidence, including dozens of packages of crystal methamphetamine and hundreds of millions of rupiah in cash suspected of being the proceeds of the drug business.

The operation began at 06.00 a.m with full force. Before moving, Marieta led a joint roll call at Sumbawa Heroes Field at 05.30 a.m.

The Head of the Sumbawa Sub-regional Police Narcotics Unit, First Police Inspector Harirustaman, said that R's house was empty when the team arrived. However, the search, witnessed by representatives of the National Narcotics Agency (BNNK), yielded significant results.

During the search, the team found 52 packages of methamphetamine with a gross weight of 21.69 grams, 8 packages of straws and 12 plastic spoons, a package of rubber bands and IDR 103,100,000 in cash in various denominations

The money was found in a bedroom closet and is strongly suspected to have come from R's drug business activities. Chief Marieta emphasized that her team would not give space for drug trafficking.

"This operation is proof of our dedication and commitment in drug prevention efforts. We will continue to hunt down the perpetrators and rid the Sumbawa region of the circulation of these illicit goods," said Superintendent Marieta.

All evidence has been secured for further investigation. Further steps also have been taken, including interviewing witnesses, assessing evidence, and conducting laboratory tests on drug samples.
