Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police revealed the role of suspect RS in the kidnapping and murder case of the Head of the State-Owned Bank Branch Office in Cempaka Putih, Mohamad Ilham Pradipta (37). The suspect is known to be the mastermind behind the monitoring team before the victim was killed.

"RS plays a key role in this case, he is the one who prepared the team to monitor the victim and also prepared the IT team," said Head of Public Relations of Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi, Wednesday (8/27/2025).

He explained that RS's arrest took place dramatically in Semarang Regency, Central Java, Sunday (8/24/2025). 

Initially, the police had raided his house in the Candisari area, Semarang, Central Java. Then, it was discovered that the suspect had already fled. The investigative team then ambushed him without resistance.

"Finally, the team managed to track RS to his hideout in Sendangrejo, Nyatnyono, West Ungaran District. There we arrested him without resistance," he explained.
