Police says the 2024 Ketupat Operation will involve 145,161 joint personnel, consisted of 76,192 Indonesian National Police (INP) personnel and 68,969 personnel from related stakeholders. “We will secure 68,611 mosques, 1,054 terminal, 792 ports, 317 airports, 414 train stations, 4,398 shopping center and 5,165 tourist destinations,” says Head of INP Public Information Bureau, Brigadier general Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko on Wednesday (3/20/2024). He further reveled that the traffic engineering throughout the holiday season will have slight changes. The odd-even policies will be applied for last resort. “The implementation of odd-even policies in certain road will be the last resort in order to provide peace and comfort for travelers, the odd-even regulation will be applied according to the developing situation at the field,” said Trunoyudo. Meanwhile, the policies of one-way, contra flow, delaying system, and buffer zone remains the same as was planned. (ad/inp/pr/nm)
