Police Reveals the Chronology of Celeb’s Son Murder in Swimming Pool

Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Indonesian National Police uncovers the murder of D (6), son of Tamara Tyasmara (28), who was murdered by her boyfriend YA (33). Police reveals the chronology of the murder by saying that YA drowned D 12 times at a public swimming pool in East Jakarta. “For 12 times YA drowned D for 14 seconds, 24 second, 4 seconds, 2 seconds, 26 seconds, 4 seconds, 21 seconds, 7 seconds, 17 seconds, 8 seconds, 26 seconds, and 54 seconds,” said Director of General Criminal Investigation of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Wira Satya Triputra in Metro Jaya Regional Police on Monday (2/12/2024). Wira reveals that before D went to the pool, Tamara accompanied her son to went to YA’s house and met with YA daughter, MAA. After seeing off her son, Tamara left D with YAA and MAA and the three went to the pool. At the pool, YAA told MAA and D to warm up before telling them to went in to the adult pool. In to the adult pool, YA told both of the kids to hold their breath under the water with YA holding them under the water for seconds. “They initially only swam for about 15 to 20 minutes at the adult pool,” said the police. Then, D and MAA went to the child pool and were having fun there for about 30 minutes where YA also put his hands on D and MAA heads to hold their breath under water for about 7 and 8 seconds. They were then returned to the 1.5 meters pool and this is when YA hold D under the water for several times. From the CCTV, it was seen that YA was not letting D to reach the pool edge to rest. Upon reaching the edge, D was exhausted and was coughing severely. Seen in the CCTV, D also vomited after coughing severely. Not long after D loss consciousness and passed away not long after. Police states that YA will be charged with Article 76c in conjunction with Article 80 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection and/or Article 340 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 338 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 359 of the Criminal Code with the threat of death or life imprisonment.
