inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police have revealed the contents of the bag of young diplomat Arya Daru Pangayunan (39), which he left on the 12th-floor rooftop of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building in Central Jakarta. He left the bag the day before his body was found.

"I can't give you the details, but what was found was a laptop, clothes, and a goodie bag, a cardboard bag," explained Head of the Public Relations Sub-Division of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Public Relations Division, Superintendent Reonald Simanjuntak, Monday (7/28/2025).

He said the clothes found in the bag were those Arya had recently purchased from Grand Indonesia Mall.

"Before going up to the rooftop, he went to GI (Grand Indonesia), from that shopping center (to buy clothes)," he said.

He further explained that a laptop, office equipment, and several medications were also in Arya's backpack. However, Arya's diagnosis cannot be disclosed due to privacy concerns.

"The victim brought a laptop, newly purchased clothes, and some medications. And basically, the groceries he'd just bought, some receipts, and some office supplies," he said.
