inp.polri.go.id - Depok. Depok Sub-regional Metro Police reveals the motive behind suspect Meita Irianty for hitting toddlers at her daycare, Wensen School. In the video that have gone viral in social media, it was seen that there are two toddlers that fell victim to Meita abuse.

“She says that the kids were loud and obnoxious. So, she got angered and hit the kids,” said the Head of Depok Sub-regional Metro Police, Senior Superintendent Arya Perdana when confirmed on Tuesday (8/6/2024).

Arya continues that investigators are still examining the suspect. However, as of now Meita is still being treated at Polri Kramat Jati Hospital.

Currently, 14 witnesses have been questioned by the police investigators.

“There are 14 witnesses, from teachers, from the suspect’s husband, the suspect, victims’ parents, neighborhood chiefs, to security guards, they have all been examined,” conclude Arya.
