inp.polri.go.id - Directorate of Special Economic Crimes successfully secured two perpetrators who made counterfeit money in a rented house in the Babakan area, Baleendah, Bandung, West Java on Thursday (4/8/22). Head of the Public Information Bureau of the National Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan explained that the disclosure started from the public who report that there were people who prints counterfeit money. "On Thursday, August 4th, 2022, at around 17:00 p.m., we conducted an investigation regarding the printing of counterfeit money in a rented house in Babakan, Baleendah District, Bandung," he stated in a press conference, Wednesday (8/10). The two perpetrators, MR (41) and AR (42), were arrested while printing the one hundred thousand rupiah bill at their rented house. “So far, they have printed 600 pieces of Rp100,000 which have been sold. They plan to make another 300 more, but only managed to make 11 of it before getting arrested" explained Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadan.
