inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Metro Jaya Regional Police dispatched hundreds of personnel to secure the election campaign day-16th in Jakarta.

“Today, on Thursday, October 10th, 2024, Metro Jaya Regional Police is securing the campaign of gubernatorial pair candidate campaigns by dispatching our 468 personnel,” says Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi in written statement on Thursday (10/10/2024).

Ade says that the security operation is part of Mantap Praja Jaya Operation. The hundreds of personnel have been assigned to several campaign locations.

“We are deploying 117 personnel to West Jakarta and 61 personnel in East Jakarta. Meanwhile, 56 personnel are stationed in South Jakarta,” says Ade.

Ade appeals to all parties to join the police effort in maintaining security and order. With that, the election campaign in Jakarta is guaranteed to go smoothly and securely.

“To the public joining the campaign, we ask you to be careful and always comply with the law. Obey the traffic rules and look after your own belongings,” concludes Ade.
