The amount of evidence of marijuana ready for circulation that was secured in this case reached more than half a ton, to be exact 534 kilograms. Taufik Iksan, said the case of the cross-Sumatra network of marijuana circulation was revealed based on the development of the previous issue. "The disclosure results are the catch of the development of the previous case in September 2021 across Java - Sumatra," said Head of Public Relations Division of the West Jakarta Departemental Police, Sunday (12/5/2021). In addition to securing evidence, members also arrested five suspects. They have the initials S (45), N (31), SP (56), M (56), and K (51). "At this location, we managed to secure 12 large sacks of narcotics containing dried marijuana ready to be sent to Java with a total gross of 254,545 grams (254 kg), but they have packaged in packages weighing 1 kilogram," he explained. For his actions, the suspects have now been arrested. They charged with Article 114 Paragraph (2) Sub-Article 111 Paragraph (2) Juncto Article 132 of Law No. RI. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
