Inp.polri.go.id – Central Sulawesi. The Central Sulawesi Regional Police Uniformed Regular Police Directorate prevents a clash between motorbike gangs in Palu City on Sunday (1/28/2024). It was reported that the two motorbike gangs that were about to clash were BM (Red Barret) Motorbike Gang, and Penghuni Timur Motorbike Gang which was about to clash in Lalove bridge and Tombolututu street, Palu City. According to Public Information Sub-section Chief Sugeng Lestari, it was revealed that the police successfully prevented the clash after gaining the information from the local community. Police immediately sent their members to patrol around the area and able to arrest nine motorbike gang members. The arrested motorbike gang members were arrested along with the evidence. They were moved to Palu Sub-regional Police for further examinations. “We cannot tolerate any violence between motorbike gangs. We will act firmly against all motorbike gang members involved in brawls,” said Sugeng Lestari. Sugeng also calls for teenagers and local communities to avoid violence acts which only harms themselves and others. “Let us maintain order and peace in Palu City in realizing secure, peace, and conducive situations in Central Sulawesi,” closed Sugeng.
