inp.polri.go.id - Central Jakarta. The Police Patrol Team of the Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metropolitan Police's Security Unit thwarted a brawl on Inspeksi Kramat Kembang XI Street, Central Jakarta, on Monday (October 20, 2025) at 2:30 a.m. WIB.

During the raid, police arrested eight people and confiscated several dangerous items, including sharp weapons and Molotov cocktails.

Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metropolitan Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Susatyo Purnomo Condro, stated that the incident began with reports from locals who were disturbed by a disturbance at the location. The police team then arrived at the scene.

"Although the perpetrators attempted to flee, they were all apprehended after a pursuit. The perpetrators arrested were MF (24), A (24), AM (29), GR (16), MR (23), JA (24), YF (24), and KR (22)," said the Police Chief on Monday (October 20, 2025).

He stated that the confiscated evidence included six sickles, one bottle of Molotov cocktails, 12 clips of synthetic tobacco (suspected synthetic), one methamphetamine smoking device (bong), one wallet, one student ID card, and IDR 10,000 in cash. All the perpetrators and the evidence are now being held at the Senen Police Station for further investigation.

"When the sickles, Molotov cocktails, and drugs were found, this was no longer a matter of juvenile delinquency. This was a form of street crime that endangered society. We understand that every young person has a bright future. However, when they stray into violence and drugs, it is not only them who suffer, but also their families and the surrounding community. We want to invite all parties, especially parents and the community, to work together to guide and provide the right path so that the younger generation can grow into productive and useful individuals," explained the Police Chief.
