The Director of Marine and Air Unit, Brigadier General Idil Tabransyah says that the authority has arrested the two suspects, PN and HM, while the criminal actions potentially could cause state losses up to IDR 461 million.
Idil reveals that the case uncovering begins when the authority received a report from an intel. Following up on the report, police then managed to stop a car at Pelabuhan Ratu street, Loji village, Sukabumi.
“In our search, we found two boxes containing the lobster seeds without any official permits,” says Idil on Monday (6/16/2025).
In addition to thousands of lobster seeds, he said, officers also confiscated a number of pieces of evidence, namely one Toyota Calya vehicle, one STNK sheet, two styrofoam boxes, and one Oppo A54 cellphone.
After being counted, all the lobster seeds that were successfully secured were then released back into their habitat in the waters of Banten. Meanwhile, the two perpetrators are currently undergoing further examination at the Mako Ditpolair Korpolairud Baharkam Polri.
