inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police is preparing a traffic engineering plan for the demolition of a stalled monorail pole in the Rasuna Said area of South Jakarta. The traffic engineering plan is currently being reviewed and will be implemented.
"There may be a traffic engineering plan. We are still reviewing it," said the Director of Traffic for the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Komarudin, on Monday (1/12/2026).
Head of Operations for the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police Traffic Directorate, Police Assistant Superintendent Robby Hefados, added that the traffic engineering plan is currently being discussed with the Jakarta Provincial Government.
To date, his office has not yet confirmed the location where the traffic engineering plan will be implemented at the monorail demolition site.
"There will definitely be a plan, but we are currently meeting with the Jakarta Provincial Government to ensure the preparations for the pole demolition," explained Robby.
The monorail pole demolition is scheduled to begin on Wednesday (January 14, 2026). Following the demolition, repairs will begin on HR. Rasuna Said street.
