The North Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya emphasized that the Indonesian National Police (INP) works carefully and transparently in uncovering the murder case of his personal bodyguards, Brigadier SH. “Our investigation is carried out objectively and transparently according to the guidance of INP chief,” says Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya in Tanjung Selor on Monday (10/2/2023). He emphasized that this investigation involves teams from INP Grand HQ and using the method of scientific crime investigation to reveal the case. Scientific crime investigation is a method comprising procedure technique and scientific theory in revealing unrevealed cases. According to Daniel, his parties had inter-collaboration process to receive concrete conclusions according to the similarities from various perspective. “We will see the results soon to determine whether we have to reconstruct the case again or held an open session,” said Daniel. Regarding the transparency of the case, the police chief states that North Kalimantan Police has sent the CCTV recording to Brigadier SH family which has been seen by his family lawyer and National Police Commission in Kendal, Central Java. He further adds that the police sent the body of Brigadier SH to the family in Semarang, with the same condition as he was since the body was found. Moreover, Daniel states that he also ready to be questioned by INP Grand HQ to reveal this case. So far, North Kalimantan Regional Police have examined 14 witnesses, with 13 of them are police members and the other one is hired employee. (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
