According to the Presidential Secretariat, Prabowo stated that this call was delivered at the Leaders' Retreat forum with Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong as a form of Indonesia's active stance towards global peace.

"We emphasize the importance of a peaceful resolution through negotiations and call for an immediate ceasefire," he said in his remarks at Parliament House, Singapore.

President Prabowo emphasized that Indonesia views a peaceful resolution through diplomatic channels and negotiations as the only way out of the conflict that continues to claim the lives of many civilians in the Middle East region.

"We express our deep concern over the situation in Gaza and the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran," he said.

In addition to the Middle East issue, President Prabowo also highlighted the political and humanitarian crisis in Myanmar.

He said that Indonesia and Singapore agreed to continue to encourage peaceful engagement in the country, in line with ASEAN principles.

"Regarding Myanmar, we agree to continue to encourage peaceful engagement and resolution in the country," he said.
