This was confirmed by the Head of the Presidential Secretariat (Kasetpres), Heru Budi Hartono. "Yes, the President will lead the ceremony in Ende," explained the Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Tuesday (31/5/22). He said that apart from leading the ceremony, the president is also scheduled to visit the market, to the bamboo forest, and visit Ngada Regency on the same day. Then on Thursday (2/5/22), President Jokowi is scheduled to visit Waingapu Sub-district in East Sumba Regency, NTT. On the same day, the President is scheduled to see the process of harvesting and planting of sorghum. The Birthday of Pancasila is now celebrated every June 1. Since the Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 24 of 2016 was passed, the government has set June 1, as the birthday of Pancasila, as well as a National Holiday. The birthday of Pancasila was determined based on the historical event when Pancasila was initiated on June 1, 1945 by the first President of the Republic of Indonesia, Soekarno. On the commemoration of Pancasila 2022, the Indonesian government will held a ceremony at the Pancasila Ende Field, Ende Regency, NTT.
