inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Joko Widodo appoints two Coordinating Ministers to be the Acting Ministers.

Coordinator of Presidential Special Staff Ari Dwipayana states that President Jokowi has appointed Coordinating Minister of Human and Culture Development Muhadjir Effendy as the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration.

On the other hand, Coordinating Minister of Economy Airlangga Hartanto was appointed as the Acting Minister of Manpower.

President Jokowi previously has accepted the resignation of the previous Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration Abdul Halim Iskandar and Manpower Minister Ida Fauziyah.

Ari says the resignation of the two figures were due to their inauguration as the 2024 Indonesian House of Representatives members.

Jokowi had also signed the Presidential Decree (Keppres), honorably dismissing the two ministers, accompanied by gratitude for their services and dedication while holding office during his tenure.
