Inp.polri.go.id - Labuan Bajo. President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo is scheduled to inspect the rehearsal of the 42nd ASEAN Summit in his second-day working visit to Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara on Monday (8/5/2023).

The President's day began with an inspection of the arrival rehearsal of ASEAN leaders at the lobby of the Meruorah Hotel, ensuring the readiness of the welcoming ceremony for the heads of state participating in the summit.

"President Jokowi is ensuring that all preparations are in accordance with our expectations. Yesterday, he inspected the readiness of the airport and this morning, he inspected the welcoming rehearsal at the Meruorah Hotel," said Usman Kansong, the Director General of Public Information and Communication at the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, at the 42nd ASEAN Summit Media Center on Monday (8/5/2023).

Presidential Secretariat's Press, Media, and Information Bureau confirmed that President Jokowi will also inspect the photo rehearsal sessions with each ASEAN leader and a joint photo rehearsal.

President Jokowi will also visit the Komodo Ballroom at the Meruorah Convention Center to inspect the venue for the 42nd ASEAN Summit's main event and the location of the ASEAN leaders' lunch.

The day will conclude with an inspection of the rehearsal for the ASEAN leaders' dinner at Ayana Komodo Waecicu Beach. In addition, President Jokowi will visit the location of the 42nd ASEAN Summit Media Center at the Bintang Flores Hotel on Monday afternoon.
