Inp.polri.go.id - Prague. President Prabowo Subianto met with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala on Tuesday during a brief stopover in Prague en route to Russia, underscoring the strong bilateral ties between Indonesia and the Czech Republic.
The meeting took place in a warm and respectful atmosphere at the hotel where President Prabowo was staying.
“I remember my visit to Indonesia two years ago. It left a deep impression on me,” PM Fiala said during the meeting, as quoted by antaranews.com on Wednesday (18/6/2025.
President Prabowo welcomed the remarks and expressed his hope to strengthen cooperation between the two nations.
Though not part of an official visit to the Czech Republic, PM Fiala made time to meet the Indonesian president, reflecting the value both sides place on their relationship.
President Prabowo is set to hold a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Thursday and will speak at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on Friday.
