Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  President Prabowo Subianto is closely monitoring the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel and has instructed government agencies to ensure the safety of Indonesian citizens in the affected regions.

“For the safety of Indonesians, the President has ordered all related institutions to anticipate and, if necessary, evacuate citizens in the area,” said Deputy State Secretary Juri Ardiantoro on Tuesday (24/6/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

President Prabowo also reaffirmed Indonesia’s commitment to a non-aligned stance, emphasizing peace over military conflict.

“Indonesia believes peace is far better than war, which brings casualties on both sides,” Deputy State Secretary Juri added.

Following recent airstrikes and retaliations involving Iran, Israel, and the U.S., the Ministry of Foreign Affairs raised the alert level at its embassy in Tehran to the highest status, allowing for immediate evacuation.
