Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.   Indonesia’s national MMA team brought home 14 medals from the 5th GAMMA World Championships U18 & Senior 2025 held in São Paulo, Brazil, from 16 to 22 June 2025.

“We should be proud of this achievement. It reflects the athletes’ exceptional physical and mental preparation, thanks to the national training camp intensified since January,” said Tommy Paulus Hermawan, the Chairman of the Indonesian MMA Federation (Pertacami), in a written statement on Tuesday (24/6/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

Indonesia earned two golds, seven silvers, and five bronzes from 17 competing athletes. Despite challenges such as a colder climate and a 10-hour time difference, the team adapted well.

Pertacami ensured athletes received daily medical support, including injury care and sport massages, throughout the competition.
