Inp.polri.go.id - Banjarmasin. The South Kalimantan Regional Police confiscated 44.5 kilograms of crystal meth and 24,928 ecstasy pills connected to the international drug network led by fugitive Fredy Pratama.
Director of Narcotics Investigation, Senior Superintendent Baktiar Joko Mujiono said three suspects, identified as SB, WC, and ED, were arrested after smuggling drugs from West and Central Kalimantan into Banjarmasin.
“All three acted under Fredy Pratama’s network orders,” he said during a press conference in Banjarmasin on Wednesday (5/11/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.
Two suspects were caught in Barito Kuala on 31 October 2025 with 27 kilograms of meth and 24,928 ecstasy pills, while another was arrested in Banjarmasin on November 1 carrying 17.4 kilograms of meth.
The drugs, valued at around Rp 91.7 billion, were intended for distribution across Kalimantan. The suspects face charges under the Narcotics Law, carrying a maximum penalty of death or life imprisonment.
