South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Assures Polling Stations Assigned Personnel Are in Good Health

Inp.polri.go.id – South Kalimantan. South Kalimantan Regional Police assures 720 personnel are in good condition after completing their duties securing the election voting process in 13 regencies/cities. “Today we welcome our assigned polling station security personnel and all of them attend this ceremony in prime condition,” said South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Winarto on Monday (2/19/2024). However, Winarto also acknowledged that there was one police member who was sick and hospitalized, although now he has recovered. Winarto conveys his highest gratitude and appreciation to personnel who continue to maintain their prime condition. He also credited his personnel for their dedication in ensuring the 2024 General Election went smoothly, secure, and conducive. Furthermore, Winarto reminds all personnel to remain vigilant considering the election process still continued. “For now, members will guard the sealed ballots after the voting process in the polling stations for 24 hours to ensure its security,” reminds Winarto.
