South Sulawesi General Election Commission Found 16 Millions of Damaged Ballots

Inp.polri.go.id – South Sulawesi. The General Election Commission (KPU) of South Sulawesi found 16 millions of ballots were damaged after being sorted out by KPU officers. “The numbers of ballots unable to be used are around 16 millions,” says the Coordinator of South Sulawesi Planning and Logistics Division, Marzuki on Sunday (1/14/2024). Marzuki explains that the damaged ballots were found in 24 regencies and city across South Sulawesi. Most of the damaged ballots were due to ink stains. Moreover, the ballot sorting process is still o-going says Marzuki and as of now, KPU is still waiting for the sorts of other ballots to be completed. Addressing the issue, KPU pledges that they will replace the damaged ballots with the new one. (ad/as/pr/nm)
