Police Senior Superintendent Happy Perdana Yudianto, Chief of the Sorong Sub-Regional City Police, has confirmed the deployment of 152 police personnel in preparation for the arrival of presidential candidate Anies Baswedan in Sorong on Monday (15/1/2024). "Anies Baswedan is expected to touch down at Domine Eduard Osok Sorong Airport on Monday at approximately 6.30 pm," he said. Chief Happy explained the security arrangements for the four points along Anies Baswedan's route, namely Aston Hotel, Puri Bridge, Rufei Village, and Cafe Sorong Km 9. He emphasized the implementation of maximum security measures at these locations.
