inp.polri.go.id - The Special Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrimsus) of the West Jakarta Metro Police received an award from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) for its achievement in uncovering cases of medical equipment investment fraud on behalf of the BNPB Institution with a loss of Rp65 billion. The award was handed over at the Graha BNPB office, East Jakarta, and was handed over directly by the Deputy of BNPB equipment logistics, Zaherman Muabesi. He expressed his deepest gratitude for the disclosures made by the West Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrimsus. "This is a big disclosure. I appreciate the performance of the West Jakarta Metro Police, and on this case the Satreskrimsus which has uncovered a medical equipment investment fraud case worth Rp65 billion on behalf of BNPB," said Zaherman Muabesi when confirmed at the location, Tuesday (13/9/2022). Zaherman Muabesi said that his party knew that amidst the Covid 19 pandemic, when people had limited mobility and received Covid-19 medicine, there were those who took advantage of it by taking the maximum profit from the disaster. "On this occasion, I thank and appreciate the hard work of the West Jakarta Metro Police," he said. Meanwhile, the West Jakarta Metro Police Deputy Chief, AKBP. Dr. Bismo Teguh Prakoso said that the award is a great honor for them. "On behalf of the West Jakarta Metro Police, I would like to thank BNPB for this award," said the West Jakarta Metro Police Chief.
