Inp.polri.go.id – Tangerang. The police is now investigating the vandalism, robbery, and abuse of Kutabumi Market sellers by thugs. Currently, security officials are now pursuing the perpetrators. “We will investigate this case thoroughly and find the perpetrators responsible for this criminal act,” said Tangerang Sub-regional Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Sigit Dany Setiyono on Sunday (9/24/2023). He explained that his parties have deployed their officers to secure the location. He urged all perpetrators involved to immediately give themselves up. “We also would like to urge all parties involved to voluntarily give yourselves up to the police as we will uphold the justice accordingly,” Sigit adds. Sigit admits that the incident at Kutabumi Market is unexpected and unattended, due to the incident that occurs right when there was a Simultaneous Village Head Elections in Tangerang. “We were quite taken by surprise by this incident because all security officials were fully paid attention to Simultaneous Village Head Elections in 16 villages,” explains Sigit.
