inp.polri.go.id - Jeddah. Indonesian cultural diplomacy has once again achieved strategic success on the global stage. After receiving widespread attention in Europe and the Americas, the English version of the book "Taste of Nusantara: 80 Bhayangkara Menus for Indonesia's Free Nutritious Meals Program" is now officially available in the Middle East.

The book was presented by Vice Chief of Indonesian National Police Dedi Prasetyo to the Indonesian Consulate General in Jeddah during a Courtesy Call event in Jeddah on Thursday (February 26, 2026). This handover marks the official presence of "Taste of Bhayangkara Nusantara" in the Middle East as part of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto's cultural diplomacy, which prioritizes culture, social awareness, and the development of Indonesia's human resources globally.

The handover of the book was received directly by the Indonesian Consulate General in Jeddah, Yusron Bahauddin Ambary, and serves as a symbol of strengthening the role of Indonesian representatives abroad in conveying national policy narratives in a more inclusive and accessible way to the international community.

Meanwhile, the author of the book, Dirgayuza Setiawan, Special Assistant to the President of the Republic of Indonesia for Communication and Policy Analysis, emphasized that the book was designed from the outset as an instrument of state diplomacy.

"This book is a strategic diplomatic instrument. This book helps Indonesian Ambassadors in various countries, including in Jeddah, to explain to international audiences the richness, diversity, and successful implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program in Indonesia," said Dirgayuza Setiawan.

According to him, this book not only discusses culinary delights but also conveys the message of state policy through a universal cultural approach that is easily accepted across nations.
