Inp.polri.go.id - Palangka Raya. The seriousness of Central Kalimantan Regional Police in preventing and overcoming forest and land fires (Karhutla) in its jurisdiction cannot be doubted. Even in Eid 2021 celebration, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police's forest and land Fires Alert Team is still performing patrols to prevent forest and land fires. This time, The Forest and Fand fire's Alert Team carried out a dialogical patrol on Yos Sudarso street and Mahir Mahar street, Palangka Raya City, Thursday (13 May 2021) afternoon. Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, through the Head of Public Relations, Police Grand commissioner K. Eko Saputro, said that The Forest and Land Fire's Alert Team works for 24 hours and does not recognize holidays. "The Forest and Land Fire's alert Team that we formed worked hard, timeless, tirelessly and without having any break for holidays. The goal is only one, to prevent and tackle forest and land fires in Central Kalimantan Province, " explained the Head of PR. On this Eid day, The Forest and Land Fire's Alert Team carried out a dialogical patrol by visiting and greeting people on farmlands or gardens. "When performing patrols, we also check on people who happen to be in the garden or on the farmland to convey a direct message not to set fire when clearing land," explained the Head of PR. The Head of PR hopes that the community's appeal can be obeyed so that the Central Kalimantan province will avoid the haze disaster due to forest and land fires.
