Successfully uncovering a prominent case, 18 members of the Samosir Resort Police (Polres) received a reward from the Chief of Police (Kapolres), AKBP Josua Tampubolon, Wednesday (27/4/2022). The ceremonial award was held at the yard of Samosir Police HQ. The Samosir Police Chief explained that the 18 prominent cases in his jurisdiction that were successfully uncovered included the disclosure of the criminal act of motor vehicle theft by the Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim). And then, there is also a disclosure of a 0.5-hectare marijuana field in Simanindo District by the Narcotics Investigation Unit, as well as the enforcement of member discipline by the General Section personnel of the Samosir Police. "Improve your performance in developing the theft network and revealing other narcotics cases," said the Kapolres Samosir. After the ceremony, Kapolres also advised all other personnel to be more encouraged in serving and protecting the people of Samosir down to the villages. "Always remember our motto to always work smart, fast, and thoroughly. And continue to do good to the community wherever you at," the Samosir Police Chief appealed.
