The socialization was led by the Head of Community Development unit, AKP FR Saragi, and was held at Lestari Ward, Asahan Regency, Monday (8/28). In this activity, AKP Saragi and his personnel met with Warno Palm Oil Workers, Tukimin Land Workers, Community Leaders from Lestari Ward, A. Siagian, to tell them not to burn the land when opening the land because it can cause fires. In addition, he also disseminated Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning the Job Creation Law which amended Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management, which explicitly stipulates that it is prohibited to open land by burning. AKP FR Saragi, S.H., conveyed the socialization of forest and land fires was part of Toba Karuna Operations in 2022 to anticipate the arrival of the dry season.
