Friday (15/7/22). The direct order of the Central Lampung Police Chief, AKBP Doffie Fahlevi Sanjaya, S.I.K., M.Sc., to the Police Chiefs in Lampung is to provide assistance and supervision in controlling the outbreak of FMD. The Police Chiefs are expected to cooperate with relevant agencies and the Livestock, Plantation & Fisheries Service to prevent FMD outbreaks in Lampung, including Central Lampung. In response to this, the Police Chief of the Anak Ratu Aji Police, Iptu Syaiful Anwar, went directly to work together with the Indonesian Armed Forces to assist the FMD vaccination by officers from the Central Lampung Livestock Service Office. "We did patrol door to door and continue giving appeals to the communities to ensure whether there are FMDs in their livestock so that it can be treated immediately," he explained. The police chief explained that the patrol was to prevent the spread of FMD in the Central Lampung, especially in the Anak Ratu Aji District.
