inp.polri.go.id – The heroic action of the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kanitreskrim) of the Koto Gasib Siak Police, Aipda Leonar, carried and brought a seriously ill child, Tirta Elizabeth (10) to the Arifin Achmad Hospital. This act of service is acknowledged and received a praise from the Riau Police Chief. The commendation was expressed by the Riau Police Chief, Inspector General Muhammad Iqbal, S.I.K., M.H., after the promotion ceremony of several personnel at the Riau Police Headquarters, Friday (01/07/2022). According to him Aipda Leonar's action is the true essence of a policeman who protects, guards and serves the community. Knowing that Tirta Elizabeth did not have the money to go to the hospital made Inspector General Muhammad Iqbal touched by Aipda Leonar's heroic actions. "This is the essence of the true police officer. I will give an award to him (Aipda Leonar)," concluded the Riau Police Chief.
