The Indonesian Police Receive Hundreds of Hotline Complaints Regarding the Shooting Case of the FPI Laskar

Jakarta - The Indonesian National Police has opened a hotline or standby channel regarding the shooting case that killed six Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) soldiers on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road. So far, the police have received hundreds of complaints via hotlines provided regarding these cases. "Positive responses were 120 reports and negative responses were 23 reports," said Head of the Public Information Division of the National Police, Police Senior Commissioner Ahmad Ramadhan at his office, Jakarta, Monday (12/14/2020). According to Ahmad, so far the complaints received by the police are of the type of criticism and support. Meanwhile, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, explained the reason for the police opening a hotline to receive information regarding the police shooting incident with the FPI army at Kilometer 50 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road early Monday.
