Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A Jakarta military court sentenced on Tuesday (25/3/2025) two Navy personnel, Chief Private Bambang Apri Atmojo and First Sergeant Akbar Adli, to life imprisonment for the premeditated murder of car rental owner Ilyas Abdurrahman. 

The crime took place at the kilometer 45 rest area of the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road, Jayanti, Tangerang, Banten, on 2 January 2025.

Presiding Judge Lieutenant Colonel Arif Rachman ruled that both were guilty of premeditated murder and receiving stolen goods, violations of Article 340 in conjunction with Article 55(1) of the Criminal Code.

A third defendant, First Sergeant Rafsin Hermawan was sentenced to four years for handling stolen goods under Article 480(1) of the Criminal Code.

All three have been dishonorably discharged from the Navy.
