Chief of Indonesian National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, checks eruption lahar flow of Semeru mountain, which has been erupted last week by air. Sigit checks the effect of Semeru's lahar using a Police helicopter on Tuesday (7/12/2021). Sigit started the air patrol at 8.30. The air patrol was accompanied by Chief of East Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Nico Afinta; Operation Agency Assistant of Chief of National Police, Police Inspector General Imam Sugianto; Corps Commander of Mobile Brigade, Police Inspector General Anang Revandoko, Logistics Agency Assistant of Chief of National Police, Police Inspector General Argo Yuwono; Chief of PR Division of PR Agency of National Police, Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, and Chief of Profession and Security Division of National Police, Police Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. "Slog strengthens infrastructure on disaster management such as public kitchen at the refuge centres and also water distillation", Argo said in a short message. Argo said that Police would add more tents for public kitchen and its equipment and also water distillation equipment during the disaster. "In the future, infrastructure like these would be multiplied to help in other disasters, considering Indonesia is prone to disaster", he added.
