inp.polri.go.id - Manokwari. In celebrating the 79th Bhayangkara Anniversary, the Health and Medical Division of West Papua Regional Police held a free healthcare event at Bhayangkara Hospital on Monday (6/16/2025).

The event demonstrates police commitment and attention to health for the people of West Papua. Many medical treatments are provided freely and welcomed enthusiastically by the people.

The West Papua Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir says that this activity is the accumulation of Free Medical Events in the region, although it will continue until June 26th, 2025.

He emphasized the commitment of the West Papua Police to continue to be present and collaborate with various parties to accelerate progress in the land of Papua.

"We are here and continue to be committed to collaborating with the government, our  military colleagues, and all components of society in the land of Papua. We must run together, jump quickly, and catch up on various aspects that are still lagging behind compared to other regions," said Isir.

He also expressed great hopes for the realization of a better Papua in the future.

"A healthy Papua, a smart Papua, and a productive Papua — that is what we hope can be achieved together," he concluded.
