"Twenty people have been named suspects and are already in custody," he told reporters on Monday (11/8/2025) during a visit to the soldier’s family home in Kuanino barracks.
The investigation involves the Military Police Detachment and the Udayana Military Command, with progress reports to be sent to the Indonesian Military (TNI) Headquarters.
Commander Budyakto expressed deep regret, saying he had lost a young soldier and would ensure strict action “according to military procedures.”
Lucky’s mother, Sepriana Paulina Mirpey, wept as she pleaded, “Please, no more slander. I could accept my son dying on the battlefield, but this was at the hands of irresponsible people.”
