inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Unit investigation team has questioned 46 witnesses in connection with the alleged fraud case involving PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (DSI).
The witnesses were divided into several clusters, including lenders, borrowers, and senior DSI officials.
"To date, investigators have questioned 46 witnesses, each from the OJK, lender, borrower, and PT DSI," said Brigadier General Ade Safri Simanjuntak, on Thursday (1/29/2026).
Ade added that investigators still need to question other witnesses to shed light on the criminal incident involving the P2P fintech company. He assured that the investigative team will continue to report on developments in this case.
"We will update you on the progress," he explained.
This case is known to be related to PT DSI's impersonation of existing or active borrowers for fictitious projects. The borrower's name was allegedly impersonated to invest in a fictitious project requiring financing.
