The earthquake's epicenter was pinpointed 15 kilometers southwest of Kupang Regency or 25 kilometers from the heart of Kupang City, situated at a latitude of 10.04 south and a longitude of 123.76 east, reaching a depth of 34 kilometers. The brief three-second tremor induced panic, prompting residents to swiftly evacuate their residences, prioritizing safety away from structures.
