Febri Diansyah, the legal representative for Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo, stated that the Minister has formed a joint team to provide legal assistance in the corruption cases being investigated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). "Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo has sought our assistance in handling legal affairs during the investigation," Febri Diansyah  said  following a meeting with Minister Limpo and NasDem Party Chairman Surya Paloh at the NasDem Party's Central Leadership Council Office (DPP) in Jakarta on Thursday (5/10/2023). Febri explained that the legal team's role is to ensure that the legal process adheres to proper procedures and upholds all legally mandated rights. "Starting today and throughout the investigative phase, the legal team will be actively involved in the ongoing legal process," he asserted. Minister Limpo serves as the Head of NasDem Party's Central Leadership Council. He has been embroiled in corruption cases within the Agriculture Ministry, which has been under KPK investigation. Minister Limpo failed to return back home based on his schedule following his official visit to Spain and Italy in  September. The Ministry of Law and Human Rights has confirmed that Minister Limpo's arrival on Wednesday (4/10/23) evening. (ar/inp/pr/nm)
