In his official statement, he explains that in rice production, agriculture requires fertilizer. In realizing smooth rice production, the ministry needs the support from the State-owned Enterprises of Pupuk Indonesia as the fertilizer producer. After a smooth production process, the farmer’s harvest can finally be absorbed by Bulog. 

Other examples of ministerial collaboration in realizing food self-sufficiency include resolving water problems, where the Agriculture Ministry will work together with the Ministry of Public Works to help overcome them.

At the end of the opportunity, he said that collaboration between ministries and institutions to achieve the big goal was a direct directive from the President. According to Amran, the president even wanted this goal to be led with one command, one voice in its implementation.
