Inp.polri.go.id - Mina. Minister of Religious Affairs, Nasaruddin Umar, confirmed that all Indonesian pilgrims performed the peak Hajj ritual of wuquf in Arafah, Saudi Arabia and have now arrived in Mina for the stoning of the devil (jumrah).
“It is certain that not a single pilgrim missed the journey to Arafah yesterday, except for those hospitalized and physically unable to move. All of them have been represented in the ritual,” he said on Friday (6/6/2025M as quoted by antaranews.com.
Minister Nasarudin explained that the government arranged a “wuquf safari” for the elderly, disabled, and ill pilgrims to ensure their rites were valid.
Pilgrims moved from Muzdalifah to Mina on Friday morning.
The minister thanked Saudi authorities for their assistance, including ambulance support, and reported a significant decline in pilgrim deaths, currently around 150.
He urged pilgrims to avoid outdoor activities during extreme heat between 10 am and 4 pm, and reminded them that jumrah is a symbol of inner purification—leaving behind anger, lies, and selfishness.
