Inp.polri.go.id - Surakarta.  Arema FC is gearing up to face Borneo FC in the President Cup 2024 final at Manahan Stadium in Surakarta, Central Java, on Sunday (4/8/2024).

After their semifinal match against Persis Solo, Arema FC coach Joel Cornelli expressed confidence on Wednesday, noting he has analyzed Borneo FC’s performance against Persija Jakarta in the first semifinal.

"Borneo is extraordinary," he said, adding there are three days left to prepare for the final.

In their semifinal clash, Arema FC faced challenges in the first half but managed to secure a 2-0 victory after making tactical adjustments, as reported by antaranews.com..

Persis Solo coach Milomir Seslija acknowledged that his team struggled to adapt to Arema’s changes during the game. Despite the defeat, Seslija views it as an opportunity for improvement and is focusing on preparations for the third-place match against Persija Jakarta.
