Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Hong Kong Police delegation, led by Senior Inspector Alice Lau Lai-kwan, praised the Indonesian National Police’s (INP) recruitment system during their visit to the Human Resources Development Division (SSDM) on Wednesday (31/7/2024).

“I am very impressed. The INP’s assessment center and organized promotion procedures are quite advanced compared to Hong Kong’s simpler system,” Senior Inspector Alice said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The delegation engaged in a two-hour discussion on the INP’s human resources cycle, including recruitment, career management, and retirement. They found the insights valuable and hope to apply them in Hong Kong.

The INP’s SSDM Career Development Burau Head of Special Unit, Senior Superintendent Arif Fajarudin, highlighted that the visit aimed to build relations and share the INP’s HR processes. The INP’s SSDM showcased their digital system, Satu Data SDM, which tracks personnel data from education through to service completion.

The delegation also toured the INP Museum and watched a film on the INP’s history. They will continue their visit with stops at the INP’s International Relations Division and Mobile Brigade unit.
