Inp.polri.go.id - Badung. Bali Regional Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya has detailed the dramatic escape attempt by three Australian nationals suspected in the fatal shooting of two fellow Australians at Villa Casa Santisya 1, Munggu Village, Badung.
The suspects initially fled the scene on three motorcycles before switching to a white Toyota Fortuner (plate DK1537ABB). They later changed vehicles again in Tabanan, using a Suzuki XL7 to cross into East Java via Gilimanuk Port and eventually reached Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Jakarta.
“They tried to flee the country via Soetta Airport, but we coordinated with Bareskrim, Immigration, and Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police to foil the attempt,” said Chief Daniel on Wednesday (18/6/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
Two of the suspects—Tupou Pasa Midolmore (27) and Coskunmevlut (23)—were believed to have escaped earlier to Singapore. Both were later flown back to Bali from Singapore on Tuesday and are now in custody.
The third suspect, identified as DFJ, was intercepted by immigration officers at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport on Monday (16/6), attempting to leave for Cambodia via Singapore.
The Bali Police have secured key evidence including bullet casings, fragments, six motorcycles, two cars, a hammer, and a bag. Investigations continue as the three suspects remain detained at Badung Sub-reigional Police headquarters.
The incident left an Australian victim, Zivan Radmanovic, dead and another one, Sanar Ghanim, injured.
