inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Bandar Lampung Sub-regional City Police deploys 723 personnel in the 2024 Mantap Praja Operation to secure the election process.

“The focus of 2024 Mantap Praja Operation will focus on the smooth running of the regional head election. In this operation, we will be supported by the 0410/KBL Regional Military Command,” says Bandar Lampung Sub-regional City Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Abdul Waras on Tuesday (8/27/2024).

Abdul says that the activity is part of police efforts in preparing their personnel for security operations during the ongoing election process.

“This is important for us to prepare for securing every election process in this city, so that democracy can go accordingly,” said Abdul.

However, he was also aware that security operations from the police would not be enough to guarantee election success, it would also require strong collaboration with the public.

He reminds the public to maintain their unity and solidarity despite their difference in political choices.
