Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police Hospital (INP)’s Bhayangkara Hospital in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta has released forensic results on the body of an eight-year-old girl, identified as AR, found dead in a rented room in Penjaringan, North Jakarta, on Sunday.
“The body arrived at the hospital at 5.42 am on 21 September 2025, and the autopsy began at 8.15 am the same day,” said Bhayangkara Hospital Forensic Department Chief Senior Superintendent Ahmad Fauzi on Wednesday (24/9/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
He reported the body of the girl, identified as AR, was already decomposed, with maggots present, injuries on both sides of the neck, and an open wound on the head showing blood infiltration into the skull. Examiners also discovered a protrusion on the left rib bone, likely from previous healing.
Police have questioned seven witnesses, including the victim’s parents, as investigations continue. The crime scene remains sealed off by yellow tape as the police work with forensic teams to preserve evidence and determine the cause of death.
