inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) asked the public to continue to prevent radicalism and terrorism in their respective regions.

“This issue is like an iceberg, what we see is not what truly is, there are more things than meets the eye,” says the BNPT Inspector Catur Iman Pratignyo on Thursday (8/29/2024).

According to Inspector Catur, although there are no terrorism incidents in 2023, does not mean it is over, Security officials still remain vigilant and continue to do their work diligently.

“Law enforcement still does their work, however it is important for the public to also support us in our efforts. Let us together do our job in maintaining our peace and prosperous life,” says Inspector Catur.

He reminds that radicalism and terrorism knows no religion and their action only disrupts the balance of the nation.

Therefore, Catur asked all public elements to work together in preventing radicalism and terrorism by holding the principle of Pancasila, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, and NKRI.
